SPECIAL 2023 LECTURE WITH CAREER AMBASSADOR THOMAS R. PICKERING

En Route to Ukraine: An Evening of Education & Inspiration
Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 30, when we will be convening a very special event at Hamilton Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Join us as we hear Thomas Pickering provide context and history of the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. As the former ambassador to Russia, India, Israel, El Salvador, Jordan, and Nigeria – as well as being the US Ambassador to the United Nations – Mr. Pickering knows a thing or two about what has led up to this conflict.
Then hear Foundation members Kenneth Glover and Joseph Varga recap their two recent trips to the Ukraine, where they provided funds, food, and moral support to a variety of grass roots organizations, with a special emphasis on those providing safety to orphans and displaced people. Their stories are moving and important.
This will be an incredible evening and is being co-sponsored by Friends of the Broad Street Cemetery and Hamilton Hall, for whose generous participation we are very grateful. I hope you’ll join us. Watch your email, our website, and our Facebook page for ticketing information.
